It's based on a novel by Jack Ketchum.

Been waiting for this one for awhile.

I can't wait to see this one. I guess Lucky McKee is one of the director's (anyone know the story of why there are 2 director's listed for this one?).
Cox is one of my favorite actors and this sounds like something I would enjoy.

Quote from Wiki..

"Shooting was halted when Red was almost completed, with McKee as director, in Los Angeles, in December, 2006. Shooting resumed in Maryland following a hiatus of more than six months, with a different director, Norwegian Trygve Allister Diesen. No explanation has been offered for the shared directing credit."

Definitely intrigued by this one. Enjoy Cox and Sizemore (sounds dirty ) and the trailer reminds me a lot of History of Violence.

I saw this on HDNET and found it to be an incredibly moving film. Pretty solid performances all around - - even Sizemore.

I really hope this gets some sort of theatrical run because it definitely deserves one. I'm sure some of the indy theaters will pick it up.

It was pretty good. Solid. Nothing spectacular, though.

Brian Cox was terrific but Sizemore looked like he went skiing into an AIDS tree.

Just got done watching this. I loved it and found it to be one of the best, most involving and most moving films of the year. Cox was amazing and I know it'll never happen in a million years but he deserves an Oscar nom for Best Actor for this film. This was just an incredibly watchable film that kept my attention from start to finish.

Wow, 10 replies.

Saw this last night and this film deserves to be seen.

An amazing, emotional film with a oscar worthy performace from Brian Cox. The only complaint is it was shot in HD and looks like a made for TV movie, but the story and performances elevate it to the next level.

One of the best films of the year, IMO.
