Please help me identify this movie...
I know this is VERY little to go on, but here's the movie I've been desperately trying to place for years, and every few months I think of the scene, and I can't place it. Driving me nuts!
It's an older movie - likely from the 70s, but possibly from the early 80s, and maybe as old as the 60s. I swear it's a "Blob" remake, but I dunno... A long-haired hippie goes into a barber-shop, and sits down. The barber takes a look at the disgusting hair and asks something like: "Anyone ever touch this hair?" and after thinking a second, the hippie replies: "My mom...Once." I swear at that moment, the "Blob" or whatever comes up through the sink drain, latches onto his hippie-hair and then...I remember nothing else. It's not so much that I remember this being a good or bad movie, I just want the answer so I'll quit hearing the voices in my head! ;) Thanks! |

I'm pretty sure that's Beware! The Blob (1972).

"The movie that J.R. shot!" The only one, thankfully.

Ah, you guys rock! From IMDB:
The real goods here are in the goofy comedy elements of the film. It's never a dull moment, not when Chester digs into his tackle box to find a case of beer, not when Lisa and Bobby repeatedly run afoul of Ed Fazio, and not when the blob attacks such random characters as a hippie paying a snobbish barber $400 for a haircut and a big bald naked guy in the bathtub. I can rest easy, now! Thanks again! So, is this on Blu-Ray, yet? ;) |
