Movies in which the main character(s) dies in the final shot?

Was wondering about how many films there are in which the main character (or characters) dies in the film's very final shot. Not the final scene, but the very final shot of the movie. So far I can only think of only one genuine example:

Kirk Douglas in:

Spoiler:
ACE IN THE HOLE

Any others? (spoiler tags recommended)

Some close but not quite:

Paul Newman:

Spoiler:
and Robert Redford in BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID. We don't actually see them getting killed, but the audio suggests they are goners.

Sean Penn:

Spoiler:
in his film INTO THE WILD, the main character dies in what seems to be the final shot, but then it cuts to a shot of a photograph, so the death scene isn't really the final shot of the movie.

Django

Spoiler:
Eduardo Fajardo as Major Jackson comes real damn close to your parameter.

But I can't think of a closer one.

I was thinking of doing this, but since the OP asks for the death of the main character, why bother?

The Phantom of the Opera ('25)
Camille
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde ('41)
Little Ceasar/The Roaring Twenties (Quite a few early gangster movies ended with an overview of the main character)
The Godfather Part III
Fist of Fury (AKA The Chinese Connection)
New Fist of Fury (Even Jackie Chan suffered the same fate as Bruce Lee did)
Vengeance/Chinese Super Ninjas/The Heroic Ones (Hell, LOTS of Shaw Bros movies had their heroes dying right before "The End" appeared onscreen)

Some I'm hazy on:
Bloody Mama
Iceman
Nicholas and Alexandra
The Wages of Fear
Medium Cool

Movies from the late 60's/Early 70's tend to have these abrupt endings as soon as the main characters died.

Neither that nor Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid counts because in both movies the main characters are still alive in the final shots.

Gallipoli is the only one off the top of my head at the moment.

EDIT: And also Romero's Martin.

SECOND EDIT: I'd also like to note that threads like these are almost sadistic in their spolier-ey ways, yet I click on each one.

The OP didn't ask for instances when the main character(s) were dead in the final shot. Guess I just figured they were in the process of dying.

The scene over the closing credits is masterful: Martin's uncle performs a ritualistic ceremony over Martin's secret burial plot in his front yard, while the talk show soundtrack natters on. Just before the screen cuts to black and the film stops completely, a disembodied voice murmurs, "I think I know where The Count is. I have a friend... who I think is The Count."
