Why does it matter? Not like we literally decide the villains. I'd personally would like the Catwoman back in. While I didn't like the whole Rachel insertions cuz...well...I dunno..it seems like ALL superhero flicks have them. Batman's the off and on again guy...in fact..his most stable relationships are with the woman most like him.

One villain, the Riddler being very well known, catering to the casual fan; and the other, Black Mask, being pretty obscure but has a pretty big role in the comics. In my opinion they would fit well into a 'Nolan' Batman, they could both be made very dark and real as the villains were portrayed in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. I feel that these are the two best options and that they would fit well together.

Black Mask would be cool...I'm more for any obscure Batman villain. I just can't stand any of Batman's famous villains - Penguin, Clayface, Poison Ivy, Bane, Killer Croc, Catwoman, Riddler...I'm sure Nolan can transform these cheesy villains into cool villains though.

I think Deadshot and Harley Quinn should be the next two villains. They are obscure and cool. Harley Quinn is a more interesting character than Catwoman at least...

I'm surprised that Tim Burton never used Harley Quinn in his two Batman films. That's his type of girl - crazy, wacky looking, and hot.

I'm pretty sure Harley Quinn wasn't introduced until after Batman Returns. It was at least in production.

Well, Batman Returns came out in June of '92.. Batman: The Animated Series (where Harley Quin made her debut) didn't premiere until September 1992.. so obviously there's no way that Burton could have used her.

I'm not sure aliens would be the best follow-up to the realistic, grounded world Nolan has created.

Yeah, that's pretty stupid.

Same with Renee Montoya, who was introduced in the animated series and then jumped over to comics. Of course, the animated one wasn't a lesbian who was outed by Two-Face and then became the Question.

Tennant as the Riddler would be a nice choice.

That looks like Daniel Radcliffe in the picture. I'm guessing it's not but who is David Tennant?

I'm pretty sure he's the latest Dr. Who. I know I've seen that pic in someone's sig.

And from the looks of that fan poster, Kristen Bell as Catwoman! :)

I think if anything the poster implies Marion Cotillard as Catwoman. Belle seems more suited as a new love interest or (god help us) Batgirl...
At least thats my take

That was what I assumed as well.

I have faith in Nolan that whatever character and actor he picks to play them will be great.

Hmm... Marion Cotillard isn't a bad choice for Catwoman. The rest no way in hell.

I think they should try and get Sean Penn for the Riddler.

Wonder if they'll ever consider using the Joker again?

Why not? Ledger was not the fucking end all be all for the Joker. Hundreds of different artists have drawn the Joker in hundreds of different ways over the years. Acting is no different.

How about Batman not being in the next Batman film? If Peter Sellers can star in a Pink Panther movie without actually being in the film, then Batman can do that as well!
