I wish I could understand what Catwoman is saying. Hopefully they fix that before the release date.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

Currently cleaning up my pants after watching that twice. Rewatched The Dark Knight this weekend. This looks promising. In Nolan I trust.

Glad they fixed Bane's voice. This actually got me excited again.

Did you think they were going to take it out?

Oh no no, it has nothing to do with Hines Ward. It's the terrible effect of a football player running for a touchdown while the grass implodes behind him. Maybe it looked good on paper (I honestly don't see how) but it comes off very, very cheesy, especially when it's a movie that is suppose to be this serious.

No, of course not, I just don't know how anyone could have not tapped on Nolan's shoulder and said "you know this doesn't work at all, right?".

Looks fucking awesome. I know people are holding back their excitement because they are fearing another SM3, but I think this is going to kick all sorts of ass.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

I looove the serious/heavy tone of this film. Wow, the music...the scenes...they all gave me chills. I didn't expect that.

For me, it will be a great "Big Comic Book Movie Year" companion to The Avenger's Epic/Fun tone.

Unreal.

That shot of Batman coming out from the smoke will be iconic.

As I put earlier - in Nolan I trust. Every time I rewatch Batman Begins or The Dark Knight I gain more and more respect for his brilliance.

This trailer could have sucked and I would still be looking forward to this.

his direction is fucking great and keeps getting better, wonderful to see that from a major director. Just wished TDK didn't have plot holes.

I realize Nolan is implementing Batman in to the real world but it's still a comic book movie and crazy explosive shit makes just as much sense as the rest of the things in the movies.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

Much more effective trailer than the teaser- though both the teaser and the prologue help it by giving a little more context to scattered images and lines.

The only thing that really underwhelms me is sad preponderance of yet more Teal & Orange.

I think Nolan's been pretty good on getting a good color timing scheme w/ his films.
