Let's enjoy an episode of The Retarded Policeman:

I'm going to go to Hell for laughing at that.

I worked in a sheltered workshop with handicapped people the whole time I was in High School. They are great people with great skills, and I knew quite a few that would have laughed at that, or better yet, wanted to star in it.

I guess the mentally handicapped community don't have a problem with the film after all.

Scooby Doo 2 pissed me off when I worked at a movie theater and retards flocked to see and support that one so now I'll get a chance for payback.
Its funny how tards have never been all pissed like this before. Theres something about Mary, The Ringer, South PArk, Palindromes, etc. all folk much deserved fun at these drooling mistakes. Why are they now going after Tropic Thunder?

Well I don't like people who do not have car insurance. ;)

SO, there was actually a disabled person in the theater when I saw this on Friday afternoon. I dont know the extent of his disability but he was in a wheelchair and his hands were all weird and he had the retard laugh. Maybe he was just physically disabled and not mentally disables or a combo of both but I'm not sure. Strangely enough he seemed to enjoy the film as much if not more so than anyone else in the theater.

I think you could make a strong case that Stiller's underlying message was very respectful towards mentally handicapped people. I thought that what the movie was really making fun of was Hollywood's over-sentimentalized stereotyping of the mentally handicapped, not the people themselves.

Agreed. The people being lampooned were the callous actors, agents, and executives, not the disabled.

This movie is good for people who follow movies and the gossip that goes with it. They will get the jokes. If your a inner city youth who's into hip-hop culture I doubt you will find it funny.

That's silly. There's plenty of jokes based on the action and lines for anyone to get.
