REC review by Brian Orndorf

I have just read Brian Orndorf's review of the Spanish horror film REC and I found it very insightful and to the point on what makes REC so successful as a horror film. But since I have only been able to see REC on DVD thru it's Spanish Import DVD release, I'm intrigued on how DVD Talk reviewer Brian Ordoff got to see REC theatrically, since the film hasn't been released or screened here in the US to my knowledge. Can Mr. Ordoff explain how he got to see REC?

He pirated it, like everyone else in the US.

In the real word, this is called "libel."

No, no pirating here. All it took was a visit to Amazon UK.

Really not that hard.

I put the review in theatrical because I had no interest in reviewing tech specs on an import disc.

I'm glad we aren't in the real world.

I actually saw the whole film in Google video.

I stole a 2 cent piece of bubble gum from a 7-11 when I was five.
