Wow, thanks for the CD info! Ordered mine and a half dozen other discs to save some on shipping!

This is very exciting, definitely one of my fave scores.

Re: HEY YOU GUYS! Goonies 2 a Reality?

It must be true that Goonies never say “die.”

After years of anticipation, “The Goonies” sequel may finally be in the works.

Director Richard Donner told TMZ that he plans to bring back the entire original cast for the follow-up to his 1986 cult classic.

Asked if he was going to make another comic book movie, the filmmaker said, “If you call ‘Goonies’ a comic book. We’re doing a sequel.”

Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, Jeff Cohen and Martha Plimpton starred in the adventure comedy. Donner didn’t mention whether the film will follow the gang 28 years later or feature them in cameo roles.

While promoting “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” last year, Astin told IGN that he was absolutely positive that a sequel would be shot. Sequel buzz has only amplified since then.

“It will happen,” he said. “I’m 1000 percent certain there will be a sequel. I will bet my children on it.”

Richard Donner is responsible for some of my favorite movie moments, but I don't believe this will happen.

In fact, I hope that it doesn't.

I hope it happens just so that Sean Astin's kids don't have to find a new home.

So Chunk and Mikey have traded places, huh? I still remember when girls in my school were fawning over Sean Astin (and his naked behind) when he starred in Toy Soldiers. How times have changed.

Re: HEY YOU GUYS! Goonies 2 a Reality?

I hate to be a buzz kill,

BUT

Honestly, how good can Goonies 2 be?

What we want really are the 1985 versions of Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, and Corey Feldman to star in ths thing, not some Disney channel wannabes who, for sure, will be cast to take over.

Goonies II has left the station, just like Ghostbusters III.

Who knows how good it might be. Until more details come forth it's difficult to tell. I won't dismissed right off the bat.

One interesting plot might be the Goonies, all grown up, having to undertake am adventure to rescue their kids (no real peril, maybe even just a misunderstanding). Sort of like Goonies from the (adventurous) parents' point of view, except this time... it's their time... one last time... "down here."

Either this was posted somewhere before or I thought of it myself, I can't remember. Is that familiar? What do you think?
