Morgan Freeman in serious condition after car wreck
Actor Morgan Freeman was involved in a serious car accident last night in Mississippi. Mississippi Highway Patrol says Freeman was driving a 1997 Maxima with a female passenger when he ran off the road, over corrected and flipped the car several times. Both Freeman and the woman had to be cut from the car with the Jaws of Life. Freeman in serious condition this morning.
http://www.wmctv.com/ My prayers are with Mr. Freeman. |
I genuinely hope he and his passenger recover fully.
I had a similar accident once on the highway - I dozed and started to go off the road which woke me up, resulting in me overcorrecting and careening off the other side, though the car never flipped. By some miracle, I managed to walk away without a scratch, but my car was mangled pretty bad. I'll never drive tired again and never should have in the first place. |
I hope he is alright

really sad news.
but i have to ask, why is he driving an 11 year old nissan? |
So what will the third piece of bad news be after the TDK premeire
|
One of my favorite actors of all time.
I hope he and his passenger recover okay. I hope he's up and around in short order. I hope his future performances are as great as they were in the past. I hope. |
TMZ
Bill Luckett, Freeman's friend and co-owner of Freeman's restaurant Madidi, said his buddy was sitting up and talking at the hospital. One source tells TMZ that Freeman has broken several ribs and injured his knee. His female passenger, we're told, had to be cut out of the car using the Jaws of Life. A source says she's suffering from bumps and bruises, but is in "all in all in good condition." |

I pray for a quick recovery and all news footage of the accident to be narrated by Morgan Freeman.

Glad he's ok!

Glad hes ok, and sad that the first thing I thought of was "Ah what about Batman 3?!?"
|
I just read about this. I hope he pulls through okay! My first thought here when I saw the thread was "I wonder who's going to be the first person to post about unfortunate things happening to TDK crew?" Why do people take coincidences and chance so freaking seriously? ;)
(BTW, were worse to come, he *would* be the third person from TDK to die. But that "dying in three's" stuff needs to just die already...) |

Glad to hear he seems to be ok! Based on the DVDs I own, Freeman is one of my favorites.

"Shhh" --> <-- "It"

Glad to hear he's doing alright. I don't want the Batfranchise to become cursed like The Matrix was.
|
The greatest living American actor, no hyperbole.
I wish him a speedy and complete recovery. |

Now I hear it's a broken arm and shoulder. I hope he has a speedy recovery. At least he isn't dead, thankfully. |
I truly hope he makes a full recovery. If something were to happen, it would give TDK 2 supporting actor nominations.
