Great character names in movies?

Sometimes you don't have to mention the premise or movie title to know what movie one is talking about simply by one of the characters' name in the fim to know what it is. The character name sometimes becomes so legendary and iconic.

I love a great character name that sticks with you. Of course many times it is the actor portraying that charater that makes it legendary, but good names are so vital in movies, i think.

I was thinking about what are some really great character names that just become synonymous with a movie or franchise that even if people haven't seen the movie they know what it is.

I am not necessarily talking about the title of films that are the lead characters' name.

They can be your favorites or just names that stick out and are so perfect for that particular character in that particular movie.

Some I thought of (which includes favorites):
Rick Deckard
Ripley

Sarah Connor; maybe Reese as well
John McClane
Anton Chigurh
(though not legendary as yet)

So what are some of your favorites or just ones that you think are great character names in movies?

I was on XBOX live the other day and one of my team mates had a name that was "_____ Plissken". I forget what the 1st name was but it wasn't "Snake". Anyway, I was telling him that an enemy was coming and I called him "Snake", then I realized my mistake and apologized. He said, "Naw dude it's cool. Lotsa people make that mistake. But that's cool because you know where it came from." We had a good laugh.

I imagine there have been plenty of "Snake" characters in film over the years but obviously "Plissken" is the Iconic part of the name..
