No role for Christina Hendricks?

I never liked the original, but I'll admit to have never seen it with the full "experience".

How about Eva Amurri as an obvious choice for Janet?

I'm a huge fan. Seen it entirely way too many times in theaters over the past 25 years. The movie is terrible. RHPS is famous for the midnight-movie audience participation experience, not the quality of the film itself.

Re: Fox wants to remake "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

The movie really is terrible, but that doesn't mean you can't like it either. I love tons of terrible movies, despite their shortcomings. Still, remaking it (probably to a PG-13 rating and all the "unsavory" bits removed) misses the point entirely.

An RHPS remake really needs Joss Whedon. There's no one else in Hollywood today who could make something that stupid without it seeming stupid.

I love RHPS and Glee, but I think this is a bad idea....

Speaking of...Buffy alums Anthony Stewart Head and Amber Benson performing songs from RHPS.

Re: Fox wants to remake "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

This was something that I could never get into. Granted I haven't ever seen it with a crowd like some are saying you need to in order to "get the full experience" but I've never really had that opportunity. Plus to be honest it just doesn't really seem like my cup of tea, and I'm not usually very big on musicals.

Yep. That girl turned out HOT. Her mom is still sexy too.

I've seen RHPS many times over the years and I LOVE everything about it. That said I'm ok with a remake because it won't take away from the original film.

He's suggesting her because she's the daughter of Janet from the original film.

Yeah. I gathered that once I read her bio. Originally I jumped straight to her filmography.

Re: Fox wants to remake "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

I like the original movie.

I don't know that it really needs a re-make, but I'm not going to boycott it or anything. Yet.
