From to conservative to liberal movies
 

What are some movies, where a person changes their political views from conservative to liberal, and it takes up most of the plot?

The only one I can think of, is Born on the Fourth of July, but I'm not 100% sure Ron Kovic was totally conservative.

Born of the Fourth of July is the only one I can remember. Into the Wild it can be argued he was always a hippie at heart.

^Well probably true of Chris but really I think the character of Ron (Hal Holbrook) is the one who changes from religious conservative to atheist liberal.

How about Jenny from FORREST GUMP?
And Taylor from PLANET OF THE APES in part 2 he blows up the earth.
OMEN 2 he's in a conservative miliatary school and finds out he's the anti-christ and starts to become liberal in OMEN 3.

Harry wasn't liberal in Magnum Force, he just merely "had his limitations," and only hunted the vigilante cops, after they murdered an innocent cop.

That's more going from conservative to insane (and some argue that is kind of the same thing).

Bullworth started as a liberal in the 60s, but became safe and more conservative in the 90s. Still, I'm sure some people on this board would have dubbed his 90s persona as left of Che Guevara.

Conservatives don't usually go to LA to speak in black churches and attend fundraisers with rich Hollywood executives. He was a Democrat who, when faced with death, finally had the courage to admit that he was the tool of the special interests and only claimed to support minorities while taking money from lobbyists to do things that ran counter to minority interests.

She was doing the whole 60's thing. Drugs, unsafe sex, rock n roll. Remember she was a singer on stage in the movie.

Yes, I know that. But when did she shift to having a conservative political view?

Isn't this about the opposite? Shift from conservative to liberal...then again I'm not sure why dying of AIDS makes one a liberal. Perhaps in lopezland it does.
