Spielberg needs a Billion Dollars?

According to this article, it looks like he wants to split from Paramount.

Makes me wonder why they caved in and sold DW to Paramount in the first place if it just meant they needed to raise investors.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Although I dispute the article's claim that Indy 4 won't hit $300 million. It should, although does it really matter if ends at $295 million or $310 million?

Still, why sell Dreamworks if you want to make it independent again? And isn't it basically autonomous within Paramount? Is this all a negotiating ploy to get greater control of Paramount?
