What film should I see this weekend?

I'm home for the weekend and would like to see a movie. I may go with my parents, who are pretty conservative..

Which would be the best choice?

I really want to see The Visitor, but open to the other options..

Hands down, Son of Rambow. I haven't seen it yet (no theaters in my area are showing it), but it looks fantastic.

I think The Fall would benefit most from seeing it on the big screen.

Priceless is just now in theaters here? Sheesh. Audrey Tautou is a cutie.

I wasn't bowled over by the trailer for Son of Rambow or [email protected] The Visitor looks good.

I wouldn't want to see Zohan in a million years.

I don't know if my parents would enjoy The Fall, doesn't seem like their type of film. I'm leaning more towards The Visitor or Son of Rambow.

Oh yeah, with the parents, uhm I'd go with Son of Rambow as the "safest" pick. The Visitor a little less so but still a strong choice.

The Fall
Spoiler:
(though it gets a tad violent and sad at the end, but bittersweat- I'd say check it out without the parents)

my mom loved 'The Visitor'

[personally, I'm checking out 'Son of Rambow' and 'Love Songs' tomorrow at the AFI Silver theatre - I plan on taking my Mom to see Young @ Heart now that it's over at the Avalon and she's been wanting to see it]

I saw The Fall today and highly recommend it. It deals with serious subjects, but is pretty inoffensive and actually has many light-hearted moments. The audience in my theater all seemed to enjoy it quite a bit.

I saw Son Of Rambow last night, and have to say it fell a bit flat for me. It's cute, but not as comical or as imaginative as I was expecting it to be. I still found it enjoyable (and absolutely loved the "Son of Rambow" drawings), but my wife did not.

The Fall.

I wish I had the option of The Fall but it's not playing locally. I'll see the visitor instead I guess which was on your list and looks solid.

Just got back from Mongol, and it was quite entertaining... The Foot Fist Way was pretty damn funny as well. Not sure where in NY you are.

The Fall. Just got back from seeing it and it's the best movie I've seen this year.

I saw The Visitor. My mom was exhausted and fell asleep, but my dad enjoyed. I liked it as well, even though it was a bit slow.
