Should Indiana Jones 5 being about Time Travel?

What are your thoughts.

I think either Kenbuzz will kill you, or kill himself.

And if you are actually serious about your inquiry...

It would really depend on the story.

As an SF fan, I really like time travel stories (although some SF fans don't) as long as they are careful about avoiding paradoxes, or minimizing them as much as possible. For example: I liked the the BttF flicks, they're fun but rife with causality paradoxes - which I can live with considering the (comedic) nature of the movies. I don't think those sort of things could be gotten away with in an Indy movie.

The new one takes place in 1957, right?

So much for a Indy/Back to the Future crossover.

Stop. Just stop.

Yes it should be about going back in time and preventing part 4 from being made.

riotinmyskull 06-05-08 10:13 AM

more like it should be about going back in time and preventing all these indy threads from being made.

You mean forward in time. Maybe he can go back in time and prevent the birth of George Lucas - I think that would make everyone here happy. :)

No.. just after Tucker is made, Indy can kill George.

Yes.

The original Back to the Future time vehicle was a fridge. Coincidence? I think not. For those that have seen Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, you know what I am talking about.

;)

Yep, I'm just waiting for some kid to die in the Fridge now and the parents blame it on Indiana Jones.

"Ever since he saw that damn movie, he's been playing 'nuke the fridge'!" :)

BTW, that's the main reason they DIDN'T use a Fridge in BTTF (worried about kids playing in them).

Come on..when Star Wars the prequels came out, it got it's own sub forum for a time. Indiana Jones deserves at least some additional attention.

At least we are seeing threads about Indy, and not thread after thread about Sex and the City.
