You know a movie is bad when...

you can't remember the plot or key moments only a week after watching it.

i was just thinking about this when i saw a new review for "AvP:R" in DVDTalk . i saw this only a week ago and can't remember anything whatsoever about it. not characters, not plot (though i am sure it doesn't have much of one), not kill scenes, nothing. almost escapes me completely that i even rented it and actually watched it. usually i have a good memory and attention span and i cannot for the life of me.

so, you know a movie is bad when...?

Disney makes it.

Stars someone whose catapult to fame was a reality television show.

Tim Allen stars in it.

Starring Madonna
Starring Jessica Simpson
Directed By Uwe Boll
Written By Jason Friedberg and/or Aaron Seltzer
The trailer feels longer than the feature presentation that follows.
The "Critical Acclaim" comes from a FOX/ABC/NBC Affiliate in Bumfuck Egypt.
You can't remember a single thing about it a day later
You forgot you saw it
You can't forget you saw it and it drives you nuts
You see the same, single advertisement for it (zero changes, like Pluto Nash)
The movie is called Pluto Nash

The trailer for the movie features "that voiceover guy" (and we all know who it is) who says "In a world..."

"In a world..." = "Avoid at all costs" in my book.

The trailers show the best parts of the film, and the rest of it just blows.
