Oceans 11 (2001)

A fantasy Vegas, which doesn't exist.

But I'd still say

"Casino" and "Ocean's 11" are my favorite Vegas movies.

What? No love for Leprechaun 3? I'd argue it's the most encompassing Las Vegas film made, with mob pit bosses, sawed-up magicians, wide-eyed fame seekers, and down-on-their-luck card dealers.

Heh'. That's true. The strip is nice. And they've got tons of suburbs now. But even a mile-or-so from the strip is kinda' like ewww.

My impression of Hollywood is pretty-much the same. I remember driving around and hanging out around there [for a day or two] for the first time. It looked much cooler on the TV.

Haha. Wait. What? Are you just trying to come up with unique titles? Or do you really places those movies WAY up on your list? I remember hating Very Bad Things and loving Domino (I'm a huge sucker for Tony Scott's crack). Stuff like Casino, Leaving Las Vegas or Oceans 11 are on a whole other level though.

Actually, I do like Very Bad Things alot. It contained the first on screen (kinda) death that really made me uncomfortable (the hotel security guy). Just thinking about his screaming unnerves me.
