i normally see maybe 10 movies maximum in the theatre per year and normally it's at an art house theatre a month or 2 after it's been released. if i see a mainstream movie i try to go on a weekday matinee so there's as little crowd as possible. my backlog of movies i want to see and dvds i have yet to watch is so big that seeing something opening night rarely is that big of a deal to me.

If there's a midnight showing of a movie I want to watch, I'm usually there.
