Ultimate "bad" movie night

Hi,

I am organizing an ultimate bad (read: gory) movie night. Currently, this is the line-up:

Ricky-oh: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102293/
One hundred million BC: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1136683/
Cannibal holocaust: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078935/
Shark attack 3 - Megalodon: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0313597/

Any suggestions? I am aware of braindead etc, but that movie is a parody. I am looking for movies that are SO bad and take themselves SO serious that it becomes a travesty that shouldn't exist, but still does.

Thanks!

Might as well scratch Ricky-O from the list then.

House Of The Dead
Anything from Ulli Lommell

Norm de Plume 04-25-08 02:31 PM

I don't know, I don't consider Cannibal Holocaust or Rikki O "bad".

Yes, you are right, but that one is just one of my favorites, so I have to add it to the list...

Spice it up with Rutger Hauer's New World Disorder, featuring such dialogue as:

David Marx: I bet you're a wiz at Space Invaders.
Kris Paddock: Next time, say Doom.
David Marx: What?
Kris Paddock: Next time, say Doom! You'll sound younger.
(At the time of the movie's release, Doom's sequel, Quake, was already old hat.)

Troll 2

BuddyRevell 04-25-08 04:00 PM

Galaxy of Terror (if you cant find it)
Mausoleum

Ghostface180 04-25-08 04:12 PM

Enjoy Shark Attack 3. My friends and I just watched that for our weekly bad movie night and it was a blast. Wonder if that "pick-up line" would actually work.

any criterion title lol

Zen Peckinpah 04-25-08 08:25 PM

These are my picks...

Silent Night, Deadly Night
House of the Dead
The Wicker Man (2006)
Cobra
Stone Cold
Tango & Cash
Death Wish 3

All of these are some classic comedies. Funnier than Wedding Crashers!

Drexl 04-25-08 08:43 PM

Unfortunately, Deadly Eyes is still not available on DVD.

I was going to argue with you, but after watching that, you do have a valid point. I have to see this movie now.

Hey, Tango & Cash is one of Stallone's BEST movies, IMHO. I love that film. It introduced me to the "wonders" of Teri Hatcher. :)

Maybe I jumped the gun because that one is more in line with Commando or Road House as just a fun, badass, and goofy movie.

If you want to talk Stallone's best, at least ones which aren't involving people named Rocky or Rambo, look no further than Nighthawks, which is up there with Rocky and First Blood (and their recent counterparts) IMO.

SPiRAL 04-25-08 11:43 PM

Any of the Leprechaun movies.

A Night to Dismember, Death Bed: The Bed That Eats, and Don't Go in the Woods... Alone! will either crack you up or break your brain forever.

Another vote for Troll 2.

Unbelievably hilarious, and it never drags.
