I always thought Triple H would be a perfect Aquaman. I would pick Titan from American Gladiators for He-Man.

Only The Rock can be He-Man:

John Voigt as Skeletor

Then get Angelina Jolie to play Teela. Should be enough tension between them to keep the movie going strong!

Triple H is too old to play He-Man. Also they probably want someone who is good looking....which Triple H isn't. Maybe if your talking wrestlers, then John Cena for He-Man. Not The Rock. He's too Asian looking, and the cartoon He Man was blue eyed-blond Germanic type. The Rock wouldn't fit.
THey are into making alot of super hero movies. Just finished is "The Scorpion King-Rise of the Akkadian" with Michael Copon as the lead.
He is an unknown pretty much...except on TV series "One Tree Hill". He reminds me of an obnoxious punk, but maybe that's just the character he plays.

John Glover (Lionel Luther on Smallville) as Skeletor. He was listed on imdb for awhile...not sure if he still is.

No idea for He-man. I'd be willing to have the actor be a bit smaller (say, like Brad Pitt in Troy) if it meant getting a decent actor. You can't just throw a bodybuilder in there imo...

Am I to infer that Dolph Lundgren wasn't the perfect He-Man? Looking back, Masters of the Universe did have a couple things going for it.. Frank Langella (except for that Barbie and the Rockers ensemble he wears near the end). And that Beastman looks pretty badass.

I like the idea of The Rock as He-Man, unless the character has to be believably Caucasian in appearance. Not sure who could be Skeletor. All in all, you know they could just pull a Beowulf and distort the actors into what they want them to be. That could be the way to go.

though I'd recommend a better editor/script writer to not make the film's plot slip into a coma half way through.

Now that'd be a movie worth watching.

Re: Cast This! He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

If the movie is anything like that pic, I say bring it on!

I think Eric Dane might make a good He-Man. Skeletor might prove tricky, as the make-up Langella wore might look dated and cheesy by today's standards. I think they might need to try a Davey Jones kind of technique. If it wasn't for the fact that he has been playing so many roles like it, I would recommend Bill Nighy.

If they want Teela to be a buxom woman, I recommend Christina Hendricks from Mad Men. If not Teela, she would be a cool Evil Lyn.

You had me at Christina Hendricks.

Eric Dane also seems like a solid choice.

I would walk 20 miles in the snow to watch a movie on belt sander safety starring Christina Hendricks.

Re: Cast This! He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

^ Based on that piece of concept art, I sure hope so.

And I hope they dropped that silly plot about Skeletor trying to abolish magic from Eternia and Adam being some general who just happens upon the Sword of Grayskull.
