How was Evil Dead II funded?
I know the first was an independent film, is II?
^I know the last thing we need is another Evil Dead thread, but if anyone could help that'd be awesome. I have to write a comparative analysis paper on 2 independent films, one being Do The Right Thing, the other my choice (fun suggestions are welcome as well).

Ah yes okay. Thanks for your help. Once again I've underestimated IMDB.
Star Wars could be interesting, might try Apocalypse Now too (considering the DVD"s I have with me currently). We'll see.

DEG funded the entire $3.5 million production as they originally thought the film was going to get an R-rating.
In the end, DEG created a separate studio specifically for the release of Evil Dead II.
