Iron Man Helmet Slurpee Cup at 7-11

This looks pretty cool. I'm going to need to get down to 7-11 before they're all gone.

Minnesota.

TGM 04-02-08 09:38 AM

I just checked the only one near me... they have all but the helmet cups. :( = no sale

Matt 04-02-08 09:56 AM

I have a bunch of 7-11's near me, but unfortunately none of them sell Slurpees or Slurpee-related memorabilia. -ohbfrank-

what is the point of a 7-11 without a slurpee machine?

Brack 04-02-08 10:07 AM

7-11 isn't everywhere. none around where I live (Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati).

Worse, Iowa. :( We got Kum and Go and Kwik Star/Trip everywhere around here but no 7/11's.

The stores here are independently-owned and don't sell Slurpees. They do, though, have similar, delicious icy drinks which are known as, natch, Icy Drinks. But they never sell any of the Slurpee movie tie-in cups or any of that stuff, which sucks.

TheNightFlier 04-02-08 10:34 AM

That thing is ridiculous looking, I have to get it.

There's an immature joke to be made there.

Fixed.

Stopped at a 7-11 today and, what a joke. It's not that durable and the clerk said it was $3.99 plus the cost of a large slurpee.

No thanks, I'd rather put the $6 towards the cost of an actual coffee mug.

Don't know if that clerk was setting his own prices or it differs per region. I just stopped by 7-11 and picked up the helmet. The prices were:

Helmet: $3.29 (includes the slurpee, in fact, on the back of the helmet it says 28oz cup, first fill FREE!)
3D cups: $1.99
Iron Man Straws: $1.49

Not only that, but the helmet is SHRINKWRAPPED and the big ass sticker on the back which says FIRST FILL FREE is on the inside...

Well, at least it was on mine.

I'll wait for the eventual Crystal Skull commemorative glass for Indy IV. ;)

miz.eerie 04-02-08 06:58 PM

I Went today picked up the helmet for $2 and three cups for $1 and a straw for $1

mdc3000 04-02-08 09:54 PM

No Helmets at my 7-11 yet... I got one of the Iron Man cups though ($2.29 in Canada)... and I got an Iron Man straw, but they didn't charge me for it :) Will check back later in the week for the Helmet, otherwise I'll just get the rest of the cups.
