When it comes to Hollywood though it really doesn't matter how much talent someone has irs how much money they can make for the studio. And Tyler Perry makes a lot more money for the studio he works for than Uwe Boll. Ego or no ego the box office reciepts speak for themselves. Tyler Perry is a brand and the reason that he places the 'Tyler Perry presents' in front of his movies is simply to capitalize on that brand equity.
I see nothing wrong in this approach and applaud his success. |
Tyler Perry needs to release more Tyler Perry movies this year so he can flood the market and go away. I'm tired of the Tyler Perry brand already.
