40 Movie References From The Simpsons

I can only imagine how long this endeavor took. On second thought, now with the episode guides that have been published, it would be too difficult, but still, it's pretty cool.

That is way cool! Thanks for posting.

Love the Raiders Of The Lost Ark one, anybody have the video for that one?

Ayn Rand school for tots.

That actually makes me laugh these days, guess I didn't get it originally.

Cool. I remember seeing something like this before but there's some new ones on there.

I'm still waiting for someone who's going to edit bits of Citizen Kane reference and make it a whole Citizen Kane movie.

I just saw that I believe it was in season 3.

I'd love to see that One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest one.

Wasn't there a rear window reference before?

Where's The Shining? And Requiem for a Dream?

Some great ones still. Didn't know Sorcerer was paid homage to!

Yeah, I think it was a whole episode where Bart was in a cast and spying on Flanders. Probably a Treehouse of Horror episode.

Naw, not Treehouse. In the episode it's summer and since Otto's mobile pool service only stops by once a summer the Simpsons get a pool (build it into a barn first, if that brings back memories). Lisa becomes popular, and Bart breaks his leg after Nelson cracks a joke causing him to fall. Bart then plays with his telescope a bit and sees Flanders acting strange and hears a woman scream, so on and so forth.

It's one of the more memorable Simpsons eps.

Edit: Just to update the previous post, and be a nerd.. It was Lisa's telescope.
