They showed more footage at Comic Con. They haven't shown us anything internally yet

There's a Legendary VR app that lets you look around Stormwind on a Gryphon, and they just put it on YouTube too. View it on Chrome to look around.

Yea. If it weren't for Jones, I'd expect this to be 2016's "Dungeons and Dragons". But I'm hoping they put together something to make this a great movie.

I guess it looks good. Slightly worried when you've such heavy CGI enviironments and characters, they sometimes have a weird sheen or texture to them. Hobbit 3 looked horrible w/ its CGI.

I'll reserve a bit more judgement considering it was 15 seconds long with no good cuts to draw any sort of conclusion. I'll at least waiting for Friday's trailer.

Oh, I'm not criticizing the short as fuck teaser for the teaser. It looks fine and dandy in design, it looks like Warcraft... I'm just worried for the project based on similar films we've had treading along the same lines w/ fantasy.

Still early w/ the CGI... but the characters and motivations intrigue me. I'm game.

Looks laughable to me. CGI is shitty. Probably will bomb like Jupiter Ascending.

re: Warcraft (2016, D: Duncan Jones) S: Fimmel, Patton, Cooper, Foster

It's just so hard to make CGI framed characters look right. They look nice. If they were just a cutscene from a game or something. But again... I feel that horrible look that The Hobbit films fell into a lot of the time. Not enough care towards surround envirionments and the characters themselves to fit well against the human or physical structure sometimes.

re: Warcraft (2016, D: Duncan Jones) S: Fimmel, Patton, Cooper, Foster

I'm in. Huge battles, clash of civilizations, world building. But yeah, the CGI bothers me; it's still early though, they may be cleaning that up before the film release. But as of now too many shots look like video game cutscenes and seem out of place amongst the human actors and non-green screen environments. I'm optimistic though.

Hmm, didn't the Humans and Orcs team up to fight the Undead in one of the games?

I'm pretty disappointed to admit it, but this is how I feel too. Nothing in that trailer looked good. At all.

Naw, this has a built-in fan base that seems to be responding favorly to the trailer, so it will do better than Jupiter Ascending.

It won't do LOTR-style numbers, but should do pretty well. That and the trailer didn't look nearly as bad as the JA.

I really do not like Cooper or Foster, at all, they're two of few actors whose presence generally annoys me in any movie they're in.
