Heartbreak Kid could have been so much better
I liked the concept but the fil just seemed to try too hard to be funny. If maybe instead of the crude comedy the Farrelly's put in they just allowed the actors to improv a little more and develop the characters fully. I really wanted to like it too.

The first 45 minutes has some really funny parts. But the second half goes straight down the toilet.

I looked for the original but its apparently been discontinued by Anchor Bay.

This movie had been in development hell for about 8 years which might have been a factor.
