I don't suppose anyone knows where I could order any of these three? I've tried the usual spots (Allposters, Ebay, Moviegoods.com) with no luck...

You could give cinemasterpieces.com a shot. They do special orders in which they try and locate a poster for you.

Some of mine: All are framed, double-sided and 27x40. Click pics for bigger versions.

Original Batman Begins International

Others that i have are:

Alien 20th Anniversary
Saving Private Ryan
The Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Revenge of the Sith
Spider-Man 2 Teaser

The one i really wish i could get my hands on is an original Heat 27x40 DS theater poster with the original colors and not that reprinted black and white crap that they sell now. I'm pretty sure the next one i'll be picking up will be one of The Dark Knight teaser posters or an Indiana Jones theater poster.

I only have a few full size 27x40+ film posters ..

Leon: The Professional
The Bride with White Hair
The Warriors

Instead I collect Japanese chirashi which are smaller and more managable than film posters. They are a bit small (around 8x10) but good for framing -when I get around to it. 11x17 would be ideal but posters are generally too large for my taste .. and too expensive for the films I would like to have on the wall.

A few of my favorite chirashi:

And an old classic HK mini-poster 21x14:

I wish I knew where to find HK posters. Might be difficult in my case as the movies I'd like posters to are from the 80's and early 90's.

Bumping this thread up instead of starting another one....

Any advice on where I can get some frames for cheap?

I didn't realize how expensive 27x40 frames are.

Suggestions?

Well, knowing what you consider expensive might help in giving some recommendations.

My standard answer is IKEA if you have access to one. They have a variety of 27x40 frames in the $20-$30 range.

I have over 100 of them, unfortunately none are hung at the moment.

Here are some favorites that I have some pictures of:

As a matter of fact, Michael's craft store has them on sale this week for $10. They aren't the nicest, but they get the job done.

All reprints.

I have 11x17's of these:

My 27x40's (might replace Goodfellas with No Country or another movie):

Hangs over my bed, have had it for five years.

An absolutely beautiful poster.

I've always loved this Japanese poster.

The "smiley face" really makes it though. Sooner or later it will be mine!

In the title under her head...not really a smiley face but do you see it now? Silly especially considering the brutality of the movie and what happens to beautiful Monica.

My girlfriend got me a few 11"x17" posters for my birthday last year but could never find frames... where's a good source for those, preferably sub-$20?

I used to work in a movie theater ('94-'97) and I secured many one-sheets over those years (too many to post).

If that's the chirashi, it's one of the only ones that I've wanted to have elluded me. Great design!

It is listed as 20"x30" on ebay although I believe I once found a smaller print of it on some foreign site. What technically qualifies it as a chirashi?

The same seller lists the Irreversible poster now and again so I'm not sure if no one is buying it or if he has multiple copies. At the price of $42 (including shipping) I can't justify it, unfortunately...at least not yet.
