Wes Craven's Shocker was his attempt at creating another Freddy Krueger and was supposed to become the next horror franchise.
And we didn't get screwed out of just a sequel - the planned TV series never materialized either. Someone should get right on that immediately ...both!
Exactly. Instead we'll probably get Aliens vs Predator 3.

You could probably put Twin Peaks on this list. Three films were suppose to have been made, but since Fire Walk With Me didn't do very well in North America (supposedly it did good in Japan) the other two movies never materialized.

New Line was counting on American dollars which didn't happen, and combined with them being folded into Warner Bros...I highly doubt we'll see a sequel (which is unfortunate since the 2nd book is the best in the "Dark Materials" trilogy, imo).
Well it's still announced but... I would like to see the sequel.
