I know this my 3rd thread in a row, but I guess a lot of movies are premiering commercials.. Just saw this one. Looks pretty cool. For some reason reminds of a cross of Stargate and Spartacus or the 10 Commandments.

I want to see this one, but I'm interested in pre-historic man & beast, geology, and paleontology (no shit!). I don't know if JSP will go see it, though. Maybe...

Directed by Roland Emmerich, which explains the Stargate part.

Looks an awful lot like Conan or King Kull with the serial numbers filed off.

I want to see it but Roland Emmerich is kinda of meh. I hope it's good.

Yep. He delivered on Stargate, all their other films are just bad. I'm cautiously optimistic though. It looks interesting.

This trailer came out in July. I'm betting this will be the biggest bomb of the year.

Looking forward to it, but the advanced buzz isn't great so my expectations are not high.

It looks like another sword-and-sandals epic where the hero yells something at the end to fire up the crowd, and we're supposed to get fired up with them. Yawn.

All I had to see was Roland Emmerich's name for my interest to suddenly go from "somewhat", to "not at all".

Yeah, but it's got Mammoths, 'n' Sabre-Tooth-Tigers, and other prehistoric crap. It'll probably be fun, but it probably won't be great.

It looks very, very silly because cavemen aren't the same as Spartans or Greeks or Macedonians. They were cavemen with little brains.

I adore Stargate and while ID4 was plenty stupid, I still enjoy it quite a bit.

dont see how it looks boring, trailers look pretty exciting, lots of action etc.

Looks like a dreadful mix of 300 and Apocalypto. Count me way far out.

any film featuring stampeding woolly mammoths has potential...

Looks like total shit. Um, I'm pretty sure cavemen didn't talk proper English and I don't think they had many cavewoman posing in Meat Club Monthly, though you wouldn't know it judging by the gorgeous women on parade.

I love Independence Day too. The Day After Tomorrow pretty much negated any appreciation I had for the guy. And this film isn't helping me like him any better.

12,000 years ago people's brains were just as big as ours. Roland Emmerich, however, has a little brain.

PG-13???? This kind of flick is made for ultraviolence........
