The latest Casino Royale was awesome but Sean Connery remains as my fave Bond.

Don Baker was dull, but I consider Koskov the real villian (or at the very least co-villain), and Krabbe is great so there is a counterbalance. Plus, I also really like Andreas Wisniewski as Necros.

While they aren't at the very top of my favorites, I think both Dalton films are underrated.

Daniel Craig's Bond seems like a blond version of Dalton's Bond from the Living Daylights. Dalton doesnt get near the credit he deserves for bringing back the hardcore, ass kicking spy.

How about best Bond movie overall (a Bond Face-off) that includes a poll?

Wtf is going to change from 2002 to now other than adding the Daniel Craig Casino Royale?
Yet you waste bandwidth complaining about something that others actually care about. Personally I have never seen a similar thread. I wouldn't have thought about the topic to search for it. Threads like this are great because it reminds people of something they normally wouldn't think about.

If you don't want to participate then move along.

Casino Royale is my vote.
Living Daylights is my second favorite

Add "at least since I graduated from middle school" to the end of SD's sentence and it would be true for me as well. I haven't even bothered to watch the two just prior to SD once.

I've been known to be a search nazi, but in this case a new poll is cool (not that my opinion matters at all...).

But why not put all 20 in your poll?

The new CR for me.

It limits you to only 10 choices, so I tried to guestimate the most popular nine.

Also, I find it interesting that FRWL beat out Goldfinger this time around.

You're right. These two days seem to have lasted a whole year!

Good idea on the Bond marathon. I bought all four recent sets, and have yet to watch any. Perhaps I'll make January the month of Bond.

You Only Live Twice isn't the best in the series but gets honorable mention in my book due the kick ass volcano lair and ninjas.

My favorite Bond movie, and my favorite Bond. Timothy Dalton really captured Ian Fleming's Bond, and managed to be both classy and rough around the edges. I think he's finally getting some of the respect he deserves.

My second favorite Bond Movie (which features my second favorite Bond)...

It loses points for the "turning Japanese" stuff but it does gain them back for the volcano lair and ninjas.

Plus I can't watch the "In my country men come first and women come second" scene without saying "Or sometimes not at all."

Does anybody know if On Her Majesty's Secret Service is going to get a remastered re-release (single disc) like almost all(?) of the other movies already did in 2007?

The only good way to own tha tfilm is to shell out $40 for the 2-disc UE...
