Looks ok. I wonder what this will be rated since Judd Apatow's involved.
Kristen Bell in a bikini was nice though. Maybe Veronica Mars would still be on the air if it had scenes like that.

Saw this before Walk Hard.
It all looked decent with likeable characters (I like Segel and Bell), that is, until the final scene with the pearl necklace gag. I have never laughed that hard at a trailer joke before.

Saw a test screening of this a couple months back. I wont say it's bad, cause it really wasn't. It's not a movie to go see with a date. Since it's a break up film and it has one of those endings where it's like.. well, that's unexpected.
The comedy in it is grand. Not one of the strongest Judd flicks, but still entertaining. I think the main issue is that Jason Segel just isn't that great as a lead. The Supporting cast is what makes this film. That and Bell in the smallest outfits
And Mila is rather good looking through the whole film.. if you don't have it in your mind that it's just Meg in person talking. Paul Rudd's role is far too small cause he is god damn funny as always.
Over all, good flick. I say watch it

Trailer looks pretty damn funny. I guess this'll be another hit from the Apatow camp. I really like Segel so I'm glad to see him headlining a flick, plus Bell in such revealing clothing is always a good excuse to see anything.

He is best regulated to a secondary role, in which he can take full opportunity of the "attention" being on the lead, and truly shine.

I'm surprised that nobody is mentioning that Jason Segel is the one who wrote the screenplay as well.
Not only does Apatow help his friends out to get work by casting them in his movies, he's also mentoring them on how to make films as well.

It's a good film but the cut I saw could use some editing. I don't think it's Knocked Up-level, but it should definitely do better than Walk Hard. And I disagree about it not being a date movie...if the chick you're with is cool enough (and doesn't mind swearing or full-frontal male nudity) then I think it's totally a fun date comedy.

Caught a test screening of this Saturday night (2/09) at my local AMC. It had its moments, but it wasn't Superbad funny...more along the lines of Walk Hard. Its not gonna kill anyone to wait and Netflix this thing. LMK if anyone wants spoilers.

It doesn't even have a Knocked up sort of romance to it. If anything, it's a "how to get over someone" film with a slight bit of finding new love sort of thing.
The main appeal of this is the Bell eye candy.
As for Rudd, he was under used in this. His surfer character is rather funny but doesn't have much screen time.
