Oh, it's a movie. I see all the I hate Sarah Marshall ads posted at the bus stops. Something about her looking fat and stuff like that. It gives you no clue as to what it's really advertising.

Caught a sneak preview last night at our cinema eatery theatre and the place was sold out (it was free after all) and man was the movie really funny. The whole place was cracking up a few dozen times. Much better than Superbad in my opinion and I'd say just about as good as Knocked Up.
Rudd is underused but it doesn't hurt to see a lot of KB or Mila/Meg. KB's new boyfriend guy reminded me somewhat of Jack Sparrow in his delivery. At one point I figured the movie was wrapping up but it went in a different direction and didn't seem long at all.

Watching Richard Roeper and Michael Phillips do their early review of FSM, they couldn't say enough good things about the flick - especially Roeper. He even went as far as to say that he'd have to make a special place in his top 50 comedies of all-time list to include FSM.

The "early review" on Ebert and Roeper (Phillips and Roeper)
Roeper commented "I want to get on my knees and bow to this movie" or something along those lines. He added it's already one of the 50 funniest movies he's ever seen.
I hope it does well, it's definitely a chance for a slew of TV stars to make it big (Jason Segel, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, etc; )

I can see this doing fairly well. Will it do Knocked up and 40 numbers, i don't know, but then again, those did well on word of mouth, and didn't have big stars either though.
I'll prob see this sat night.

I literally just walked back into my room after seeing a test screening at my University. By far one of the funniest movies I have seen in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. I've been a big fan of this line of movies (meaning 40 Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad) and I can definitely say I laughed WAY more during this than the others. I don't know if the version I saw tonight will make it into theaters (there was a LOT of nudity), but we should all have a fantastic Unrated DVD to look forward to by the end of this year (or whenever it comes out, I'd put money on around December though). Highly recommend that everyone goes and sees it when it is released though, definitely worth the trip to the theater.

Knocked Up and Superbad are faves of mine. From what I've been reading from you guys, then this a must see movie for me. Probably gonna buy come the DVD release.

I saw a screening of this last night at my school. Its pretty formulaic. Nothing really hilarious about it. Its about on the same level as Along Came Polly. In fact its like Along Came Polly and Heartbreak Kid put together with a younger cast.

I know that's how real people talk, and I'm not a prude (and isn't that what all prudes say? ), but it makes me feel like I'm riding on a bus full of high-schoolers when I watch any of the movies above. Just this constant stream of cursing, toilet- and drug-humour.
Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm too old, but I'm getting really tired of this kind of comedy. Does anyone else feel the same way?
