Anyway, the Bourne flicks kick all kind of ass. Three of the best action movies in recent years.

I very much enjoyed the second one, but missed Doug Liman's streamlined narrative. Paul Greengrass' kinetic camera was effective; there just wasn't as much... oomph... in seeing the same people put through the same genre ringers as the first, only with more back story.
The third is interesting in that all pretense is ignored and it becomes a relentless and exciting chase film. Damon shows how much he can carry a movie, being the constant in all three.
Oh... and the series did ignite an infatuation with Julia Stiles (I guess she's more interesting when used sparingly).

I loved the first two, Bourne is a bad ass intelligent character, I dont know about anyone else but the 3rd one had me running for the vomit bag right after the movie with all the constant shaky camera work.

For me, i bought Identity as a blind buy on DVD because of all the good things i heard about it. I ended up trading it away and ignored Supremecy when it came out in theaters and DVD. I also passed on seeing Ultimatum in theaters since i didn't care for Identity and skipped the second movie.
With the whole set coming out on DVD and all the great things i heard about the series as a whole, i took another shot and bought the Bourne Collection. My opinion has changed drastically, as i now love the whole trilogy. I'm not sure why i disliked the first one initially... maybe my expectations were different as an action movie rather then more of a spy thriller. But rewatching them all now, i absolutely love the character.
I'd have to say i've enjoyed each sequel more then the last. I was less impressed with the car chase in the first movie, but loved the ones in the last two. The camera didn't really bother me throughout the last two movies either.

The 3rd Bourne film is probably one of the greatest movies I have ever seen. It was visually stunning, great script, great acting...just amazing. I also liked 1-2, but not nearly as much as 3, which shocked me.

En vacance
The shaking overload during the fights ruins the hard work the choreographers put in.
When two people are sitting and talking at a diner and the camera is still shaking you know there's a problem.

I love all three. I just finished watching part 3 and thought it was excellent. The fight scenes and the car chases were outstanding! I loved the ending how the series went full cirlce.
