Jon Voight as Paul Sarone in "Anaconda"
I saw Anaconda yesterday, again - for the manieth time.
And I have to say I've grown fond of Jon Voight's character Paul Sarone. So over the top, so over-played, so clichéed. He's marvelous!
It seems to me they should've just listened to him and they probably would've caught the damn snake and not lost almost all of the crew.

Oh man, did he ham it up. And that (Cajun?) accent was terrific. Without him, it's just another big-animal-eats-people flick.
And the sequel wasn't too bad, even though he wasn't there.
