Rise of the Footsoldier

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0901507/

Good gritty very ultra violent British crime drama in the tradition of Lock stock and two smoking barrels.

the violence is impressive

The reviews I've read really panned the movie...might check it out on DVD when it arrives there.

Yes it's not as clever as lock stock, the writing isn't that sharp, but as i said, it's realisitically brutal and is fun to watch if you like this film genre

Got to get on the bandwagon here with the Ninja Turtles love. I haven't been this disappointed since "Dark Water" wasn't about the pirate cartoon.
