I don't think he's being rude. I find that for every new thread you start, there's always a group that thinks you should have searched first to find the old thread, and for every old thread you bump there's always a group that thinks you should have just started a new thread. That's just the way it is sometimes.

There's no winning. You just do your best. Just keep in mind, you made the other group happy not starting a new thread.
