Favorite Pixar Short Film

Thought about this while posting in the Ratatouille thread about Lifted. So, what's your favorite Pixar short?

I left out the made for DVD ones since the poll only allows 10 choices, but feel free to comment if you prefer one of those the best.

Me, my favorite is still For the Birds.

From Wikipedia:

Original/theatrically released

* The Adventures of André and Wally B. (1984)
o a Lucasfilm Computer Graphics Project film, prior to the creation of Pixar
* Luxo Jr. (1986)
o Best Animated Short Film nominee; Became the source of the current Pixar logo, theatrically released with Toy Story 2
* Red's Dream (1987)
* Tin Toy (1988)
o Best Animated Short Film winner, included on the Toy Story Golden Edition VHS and Ultimate Toy Box DVD
* Knick Knack (1989)
o A new, edited version was released theatrically in 2003 with Finding Nemo
o A remastered 3-D film version was released theatrically with the 3-D edition of The Nightmare Before Christmas in 2006.[citation needed]
* Light & Heavy (1991)
o Short starring Luxo Jr. & Luxo Sr. produced for Sesame Street
* Surprise (1991)
o Short starring Luxo Jr. produced for Sesame Street
* Geri's Game (1997)
o Best Animated Short Film winner; released theatrically and to home video alongside A Bug's Life
* For the Birds (2000)

* Boundin' (2003)

* One Man Band (2005)

* Lifted (2006)
o Best Animated Short Film nominee; released theatrically and to home video alongside Ratatouille

[edit] Home video exclusives

* Mike's New Car (2002)
o Academy Award nominee. Based on characters in Monsters, Inc.; released on the Monsters Inc. DVD and VHS
* Jack-Jack Attack (2005)
o Based on characters from The Incredibles; released on The Incredibles DVD
* Mater and the Ghostlight (2006)
o Based on characters from Cars; on the Cars DVD

The only Pixar short film yet to be released alongside a feature film remains

Knick Knack (the snowman in the snowglobe) is my choice. More clever and funny than all the rest.

Boundin' is my second favorite--just heartfelt and goofy and I like the southwest scenery and the lyrical narration.

Luxo Jr, Tin Toy and Knick Knack are my favorites. Since getting the DVD I've been seeing them repeatedly. Least favorites are Red's Dream, One Man Band and Boundin.

Haven't seen 'em all and may have to revisit them to have a more educated opinion...

I remember liking the Birds one.

I didn't care much for Lifted.

I voted for Boundin' but I equally enjoyed Geri's Game.

I don't recall ever seeing One Man Band or Red's Dream.

I voted Knick Knack because, not only is it a great short, but seeing it (along with Tin Toy) in an "Animation Celebration" movie in 1990 made me aware of Pixar for the first time and what they were doing in Computer Animation.

My favorite would have to be the one you left off the poll...

I really, really like the History of the Rat short on the Ratatouille dvd. It's hilarious all the way through, and I love the way they use the format/animation of the old Disney educational shorts. It's pretty much 10 minutes of perfection.

mine too - although there's a smidgen of computer generated animation, it's great to see it's pretty much all 2D cel animation. For the record it's title is: 'Your Friend the Rat'

Boundin' is my favorite. It's a credit to Pixar that they can breathe such life into a simple message of 'Don't worry, be happy'. It also reminds me of my second all-time favorite Disney attraction - Splash Mountain.
