Question for Premise: I've just bought The Red House on an Alpha DVD, the best of the two available editions out there. The picture is scratchy but the worst part is the sound. Dialogs and Miklos Rozsa's beautiful score dont mesh well on the rundown track and when the howling wind sound effects get in on the action, it's literally murder. I was wondering where you watched it: TV or DVD?

As it's a public domain film, it's one of those cases where only a miracle or Criterion could save that picture...
