In the Shadow of the Moon

I had a chance to see this, and would highly recommend it. All of the astronauts had good stories to tell about their experiences(Neil Armstrong is missing),and it makes you realize what an accomplishment they really made. It covers most of the Apollo missions, not just 11. There was a good amount of humor in it also. They also have a few things to say to all of the conspiracy theorists out there. I think it's an extremely limited release, so most will probably have to wait for the dvd.

Yeah, Neil Armstrong is missing because he's been sworn to secrecy about the alien base they found on the moon!

They're airing it on Discovery Channel at some point; can't recall if it's before or after the DVD release. Agreed that it's a fantastic film; wish Armstrong came out of his shell for this one. My cousin was an executive producer on it so I went to the premiere and spoke to Buzz Aldrin while drinking wine and eating astronaut ice cream. It was a surreal experience.

It opens here on Oct 5th, can't wait to see it. It sounds on paper to be a dry documentary, but seeing the trailer made me think otherwise.

If you liked the style that they filmed "Fog Of War" in, then you'll like this one.

Check your fact. Everyone else knows it's a monolith that sends message aimed at Jupiter!
