So Mike provoked the soldiers? If so, why such a horrific death. The ending scene when the PFC walks into Mikes old room to unpack...and Jones just gives him the look. Definitely an emotional scene. I'm sure it happens all too much.
How about the scene where TLJ calls Susan Sarrandon to give her the bad news? That killed me.

Doesn't it end with the whole upside-down flag thing? Supposedly to signify that "we're in trouble." Oh brother... I like Tommy Lee Jones but I just don't think I can bring myself to watch this.

Holy cow, that was Chalize!?!
I came in a bit after it started, and had no clue (watched on HD On Demand).
It's an ok movie. I too expected more of an explanation as to why that happened to the son.
I liked it, but won't buy it.

What a depressing flick.

Started off well, but it was long-winded and really started to drag during the last 30-45 minutes.

Good job by the cast, particularly the leads.

What Haggis' detractors say about his lack of subtlety is spot on.

Loved it (though I couldn't stand Crash). Though this one was fantastic.
