I love the 90's

I just got done watching The Big Lebowski and started reminiscing about so many films that have come out during the 90's that I love so much.

Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Boogie Nights
Magnolia
Seven
Out of Sight
The Big Lebowski
Fargo
American Beauty
Miller's Crossing
American History X
Swingers
American Psycho
L.A. Confidential
True Romance
Fight Club
Memento
Snatch
Leon The Professional
Paris, Texas

It seems like the Coens, Fincher, Soderberg, and Paul Thomas Anderson are all grown up now and making more mature films, which isn't necessarily a bad thing I just miss the "fun" their films had.

I love the 90's.

Even though the 70's is in 1st place in my book, the 90's definetly kicked ass.

1994....Still my most favorite year for movies.

Great selection of movies. Look like I should check up Swingers and American Psycho.

The best period for me still is between 1965-1974

Actually that came out in the U.S. in 2001. It premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September 2000, hence the 2000 date on IMDB, but it showed at Sundance in January 2001 and opened in limited release in March 2001.

I think just about the only good thing about the 90's was the crop of great films that came out.

For what it's worth my favorite decade is still the 80's.

Imo the 2000's have been better than the 80's and 90's combined for films.

That's crazy talk right there.

Well, unless you were born in the late 80's/early 90's..

Snatch came out in 2000. 2001, really.

In terms of films or in general? I fee like the 80s was one of the worse decades on both accounts. That's not to say incredible things were absent, just comparatively speaking it was terrible.

I enjoyed the 90s era, it was a good turn from the 80s.

Really? What have you liked so far that has come out? There's a handful of movies that I love that came out this decade including Memento, Snatch, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, City of God and Children of Men but it seems like with the past few years I really like only 1 or 2 movies per year.
