There wasn't that much whining about Short Round, compared to the whining about the Willie Scott woman. Shia appears to be the 2008 version of Willie Scott.

Why can't they cast Sean Patrick Flannery? As dull as Young Indiana Jones was as a show, there certainly can't be a backlash against the guy since, well he played Young Indiana Jones.

I have nothing against Shia, and enjoyed him in the movies he's been in. May be over-exposed though.

I hated him in I, Robot. Then again, I hated everybody and everything in that movie, so I guess that just means he met my expectations for that movie.

Just curious: Has it been mentioned if the movie was shot digitally or on film?

It was an issue of contention for years before filming began--Lucas wanting to go digital, but Spielberg wanting to stick with film--but I've never heard one way or the other what they ultimately decided on.

Anyone know for sure?

Everyone's face looks priceless in that pic, especially Ray Winstone. They looks like Spielberg was describing 2 Girls 1 Cup in graphic detail to get a shocked look out of them.
