War Movies

Can anyone recommend any good Sword/Shield style war movies such as
-Troy
-Kingdom of Heaven
-Alexander
-300
-Gladiator

Movies with huge armies fighting each other. These are just thouroughly fun movies for me. Thanks.

You might want to ask a mod to make your thread title more specific. Sword-and-sandal movies are a different genre than "war movies."

The Messenger- Joan of Arc is an underrated film.

Braveheart would be my favorite but stay away from the 13th warrior

I liked Besson's Jean D'Arc (The Messenger) movie, but was it intentially supposed to be a black comedy? I was cracking up through the whole flick.
