Jason Bourne vs James Bond- Who will you side with?

Now with the final movie in the trilogy being released today and with Matt Damon saying he would pick(well of course he would) Bourne over Bond... who would you pick?

James Bond all the way. Screw Jason Bourne. James Bond is a film Icon for chist-sake, Bourne is no where near the level of 007.

I'm probally a little Bias though because of the actors who have played bond. Connery, Moore, Dalton & Brosnan are just so much cooler than Damon.

let's compare Bond girls with Bourne girls and I think we'll have an answer (not counting Grace Jones)

In a tough spot, I'd much prefer Bourne's kick-ass moves to Bond's witty quips.

(Also, the movies are a lot better than any of the Bonds.)

I guess with the ultimate cop-out, I'd say I'd have to go with JB in this one...

Sorry, but neither of the first 2 Bourne flicks comes close to From Russia With Love, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Goldfinger, GoldenEye, or Casino Royale.

I rather watch JB than JB. Honestly, my favorite JB is when JB kicked all the bad guys ass. The other JB is just kinda meh. So for me, JB >>>>>>> JB.

James Bond doesn't require herky jerky camera work and quick edits for HIS fight scenes.....

If we're talking about Connery as Bond, then Connery wins by a long shot.

007, always. I've only seen the first Bourne film and , while it was good, it didn't blow me away. Bond could have kicked the shit out of him in 10 seconds. Okay, maybe not George Lazenby, but certainly Connery and Craig.

Its hard to keep a suspension of disbelief watching Bond surfing glaciers and other crap. I like Bourne more, the action is more violent and realistic.

Seconded.

With the exception of the Goldeneye video game, the Bond franchise has never interested me in the slightest. Way too over-the-top, and there's no drama or suspense, 'cause you know Bond's gonna make it, every time.

Mr. Bourne, you need to make 18 more movies before you can even suggest a comparision.

Forget Bond, he's not even in Jack Ryan territory yet.

If we are talking general ass-kickery...

Bourne>Moore/Dalton/Lazenby/Brosnan
Bourne=Connery (for the most part)
Bourne v. Craig Bond ?? That's a fight I'd like to see!

Bond. Bourne's a good fighter, but I'd rather remember shit. Plus, gadgets, chicks, liquor and cars are cool.

"The World is Not Enough" and "Die Another Day" versus "Bourne Identity" and "Bourne Supremacy"?

Are you serious? "Bourne" is the reason the Bond franchise had to go back to the drawing board.

That said, I'd rather see Paul Greengrass or Doug Liman do a James Bond flick than dragging the "Bourne" franchise out.

Bourne....He runs around kicking ass. Bond just flutters around like a pansy sipping drinks.

Any "fluttering pansy" could easily kick Bourne’s ass. Am I being too anal?
