Just started seeing ads for this and thought I'd comment. Though it had some problems, I really enjoyed Gustin Nash's script for this film. It is definitely one of the most original "teen" films I've ever read and I am really looking forward to the movie. It could be a cult favorite if done correctly.

Nash also wrote and is tapped to direct Youth In Revolt, which is based on an fantastic novel by CD Payne. Nash's screenplay for Revolt is far from perfect and loses some of the novel's magic, but if he is able to capture the spirit of the series of books, he will no doubt become a writer/director to watch and Youth may become one of the surprise hits (critical and/or financial) of 2009.

It's August 3, I've been promoting the hell out of the movie. I think there's a screening Friday in OC.
