Yavin 07-04-07 12:02 PM

I haven't seen Transformers yet, but I have a feeling it will rock my socks off, so I'm putting it hear with a tentative (*) number one ranking. Otherwise, The Rock is my absolutely favorite of Bay's films.

1. Transformers *
2. The Rock
3. Bad Boys
4. The Island
5. Bad Boys II
6. Pearl Harbor
7. Armageddon

Everything else.

The Rock is really the only one I like. Haven't seen Transformers, and probably won't. It's not something I've ever had any interest in, even when I was a kid.

The Rock
Bad Boys II
Armageddon

They're all crap.

;)

OK, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but the only ones (interestingly enough) I can sit through (or have any interest in) are Pearl Harbor and Armageddon (although I haven't seen The Island, and it looks mildly interesting).

100. Pearl Harbor

I don't think he has made that many movies

TGM 07-04-07 12:53 PM

1. Armageddon - yeah, that's right, I said it
2. The Rock
3. Pearl Harbor
4. Bad Boys
5. The Island
6. Bad Boys II

Have yet to see Transformers.

penguin42 07-04-07 01:00 PM

I detest Pearl Harbor with a passion.

Everything else is not bad, even Armaggedon has aged well. I watched it the other night on cable and I enjoyed it far more than when it came out.

1. THE ROCK!

GoldenJCJ 07-04-07 01:17 PM

1. The Rock
2. Bad Boys II
3. Bad Boys
4. Got Milk Commercial
5. Armageddon
6. Pearl Harbor
7. The Island

Haven't seen Transformers yet.

Amel 07-04-07 01:30 PM

The Rock
Armageddon
The Island (absolutely love MacGregor, he alone is justification to see this - not a fan of Johannsen though, but the MacGregor factor overrides)
Bad Boys (would've been higher if Tea Leoni wasn't it, totally killed this movie for me)

Haven't seen the others. Even with Kate Beckinsale, I couldn't bring myself to watch Pearl Harbor. Transformers is a maybe. I'll probably wait until it hits satellite, although I do have a movie pass I could use. No desire to see Bad Boys 2.

The Rock and Armageddon are two of those kinda "crappy" movies that I can watch everytime they're on. I love both of these movies, even in all their cheesiness.

Matthew Chmiel 07-04-07 01:53 PM

1. The Rock
2. The Island
3. Bad Boys II
4. Armageddon
5. Bad Boys
6. Pearl Harbor

Seeing Transformers tonight.

fumanstan 07-04-07 01:58 PM

Haven't seen Transformers yet but I hope to this week.

1. The Rock
2. Bad Boys
3. The Island
4. Armageddon
5. Bad Boys 2
6. Pearl Harbor

I've enjoyed all of his movies so far

nateman 07-04-07 02:03 PM

Michael Bay is hit or miss for me, more on the miss than hit.

1. Bad Boys 2 (No Tea' Leoni= )
2. Bad Boys
3. Pearl Harbor
4. The Island

Havn't seen any other Michael Bay flicks but Bad Boys is his best thus far. I will get the Transformers when It comes to DVD, It could possibly be #1 If it's any good.

I actually liked the stuff he's done as a producer, not a director...

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (03' Remake), The Amityville Horror (05' Remake) & TCM: The Beginning wasn't that horrible, it just didn't live up to the name of the title.
The Hitcher remake was a piece of garbage.

jjcool 07-04-07 02:07 PM

1. The Rock
2. Armageddon
3. Bad Boys
4. Pearl Harbor
5. Bad Boys 2

Havent seen transformers yet, but I will. And i thought the Island was terrible, despite Scarlet's "assets". Found it funny that I actually own all of the movies in the list except the island, and Transformers obviously

sinister 07-04-07 02:36 PM

1.Rock and transformers are tied for first
2. Bad Boys 2
everything else after was so-so.

zekeburger1979 07-04-07 03:01 PM

Here's how I would rank Michael Bay's films:

1. The Rock (3.5/4)
2. The Island (3.5/4)
3. Bad Boys (3/4)
4. Bad Boys 2 (1/4)
5. Armageddon (.5/4)
6. Pearl Harbor (0/4)

As you can see, I either like his movies or hate them. No in between.

I haven't seen Transformers and I hope to in the next couple of weeks.

They're placeholders for any movies he makes after Transformers. :D

The Rock - all around excellent

Bad Boys - hilarious and action packed

The Island - gets a bad rap. Smarter than everything below and quite funny.

Bad Boys II - decent in parts but overall a letdown

Armageddon - just couldn't get into it. Sappy.

Pearl Harbor - garbage. Cardboard Affleck AND Dunce Hartnett...need I say more?

wendersfan 07-04-07 03:28 PM

I've only seen Armageddon and The Rock and I thought both were terrible. I suppose The Rock was the better of the two.

ETA: I take that back. I saw The Island and didn't mind it so much. It was pretty stupid but tolerable.

das Monkey 07-04-07 03:44 PM
