Movies you never finished watching because they were so bad?

Some of these choices might be unpopular I realize, but I'm not gonna make any apologies for finding these movies either pointless or wholly unengaging:

Trainspotting (my most hated movie of all-time)
Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels (i feel like this movie deserves another chance, however)
Babel (wasn't my choice to turn it off, was my girlfriend's...)
Van Helsing (fell asleep...)
Rashomon (found it very boring and unengaging)
Team America: World Police (very stupid movie, never laughed once)

I am not a big Sandler fan either, but Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison were good comedies IMO.

hmm, i'm watching Nashville right now... i'm currently 77 minutes into it and nothing has happened yet and this movie about the country music/political scene in the mid-70s is probably lost on me anyway since i'm only 19 years old and i hate country music anyway... i don't think i'm gonna be able to finish this one...

The Fog Remake. First one that came to my head because its from the last few years.

There are others, but I have to think.

Much as I like Kurasowa, Mifune's laughing got to me and wouldn't let go.

Trainspotting and Lock, Stock... are two of my favourite films. Team America: World Police was quite possibly the funniest film of 2004.

wilky61, if you found Trainspotting pointless, perhaps you should give Van Helsing another try. Maybe you were just tired that day; that film seems much more your speed.

American Pie
Meet the Parents

I didn't find either of them to be funny - just stupid. (My wife agreed on both - she couldn't stand them either.)

I have a rule to always watch a film, no matter how bad, all the way to the end.

However there were 3 films that severely tested that rule, so much so that I did use the fast forward button a little:

Hoosiers
Independence Day
Titanic

Aeon Flux - I love sci-fi, I loved the animated series, but even Charlize Theron's incredible beauty wasn't enough to make me give two craps about this. I bailed just after she used a bunch of robotic marbles to explode her way out of a prison cell.

Fear and Loathing in LV. Not even some hanky panky could keep me in the theater. As we were leaving, this other couple stopped us and asked if we were walking out. We said yes, they said "we thought we were the only ones that thought this movie sucked!!" We ended up having dinner with them. Nice people.

I tried watching F&LinLV on DVD and it didn't resonate with me. There's a lot of movies I couldn't finish watching but many times it was because I was bored.

However, the movie that was so bad it made me stop watching it was Beloved. That and Freaked.
