Doesn't The Brazillian Job sound like more like an exotic waxing than a crime caper film?

They are remaking The Day The Earth Stood Still? I hadn't heard that, and I just looked on wikipedia and didn't see it there either.

That caught me by surprise as well.

Indy and Hulk (take 2) are my early anticipations.

Hellboy, Batman, Hulk, and Iron Man all coming out within months of each other! Seems like it's going to be a record year for comic book films. Can't wait!

The Day the Earth Stood Still Remake? Interesting. I'm sure global warming will be involved somehow.

Yeah, probably when the alien saucer lands and the alien steps out, when he removes his helmet it will be Al Gore underneath!

The Dark Knight and Indy 4 for me. Hollywood is saving me a lot of money lately by not tempting me to go the multiplex more than a couple times a summer.

Did they officially add the "Batman:" before the title? Is so, that's shite. I weas really hoping they'd have some faith in the audience and not go for the "NAME...COLON....SUBTITLE" route. So much more badass just calling it "The Dark Knight."

A new Batman and a new Indiana Jones movie? What is this, 1989? No, but those two have me by far the most excited.

Looking over the schedule, this is what else I'll see:

Iron Man (I know next to nothing about the character, but the cast has me sold. Also, Robert Downey Jr. seems PERFECT for this role)
The Incredible Hulk (this is a reboot, plain and simple. And how better can you get than Edward Norton as Banner?)
WALL-E (the teaser made me extremely curious...seems like a Kubrick take on Pixar)
Tropic Thunder (normally I'd avoid a Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson vehicle, but the plot sounds interesting, and Ben Stiller is a much better director than actor. Having Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. on board makes it even more interesting to me)
Pineapple Express (Seth Rogen alone has me in the theater)
