Favorite Pixar Movie

We did one of these a couple years back, so it's time to revisit it. Feel free to add your rankings of all the films.

2. Toy Story 2 (A)
3. Finding Nemo (A)
4. Ratatouille (A)
5. Monsters Inc. (B+)
6. Toy Story (B+)

The Incredibles.

whitetigeress 06-20-07 03:11 PM

I voted for Toy Story, but I love all of them. I have not seen Ratatouille yet, so my top pixar movie might change

Maxflier 06-20-07 03:11 PM

The Incredibles is the only one i've ever watched, so I guess I would pick that one by default.

Infrared Sight 06-20-07 03:13 PM

The Incredibles
Toy Story
Toy Story 2
Monsters Inc.
A Bug's Life
Finding Nemo
Haven't seen the newest two.

pinata242 06-20-07 03:16 PM

I know that Cars is my least favorite. I haven't seen Ratatouille yet.

Other than that, I think it's a 5-way tie for first place with A Bug's Life in a close 6th.

Mondo Kane 06-20-07 03:21 PM

For me, nothing still hasn't come close to Toy Story.

Ginwen 06-20-07 03:23 PM

I voted for Toy Story 2, but ask me 5 times I'll probably pick 5 different movies.

Same here! Although I should really watch Toy Story...

The Bus 06-20-07 03:48 PM

I will probably never see Cars.

My rankings are something like:

The Incredibles
Toy Story 2

then everything else. The other movies were OK but not that great.

mdc3000 06-20-07 03:53 PM

My personal favourite is Monsters Inc. followed closely by Toy Story 2, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, A Bug's Life and Toy Story. The only pixar flick I didn't care too much for (still thought it was OK, just not great) is Cars, so it's dead last on the list. The rest other than top and bottom fluxuate depending on mood.

NiCK Crush 06-20-07 03:55 PM

Finding Nemo A+
Toy Story A+
Monsters Inc. A
Toy Story 2 A
The Incredibles B+
A Bugs Life B
Cars B-

The strongest, definitely Toy Story which I would rate a 10/10. The weakest, definitely Cars which I would rate a 7/10. The rest, which I love equally, could all be rated a 9/10 respectively. God I love Pixar.

Agree with everything you said. "Cars", even though the weakest, is better than the crapfest that is "Shrek" (all three). I think "Toy Story 2" is still Pixar's crowning achievement. Best sequel ever. Well, that and "Godfather II" ;)

T1000 06-20-07 04:20 PM

Toy Story for me.

Love that film.

Yavin 06-20-07 04:29 PM

I'd say my #1 would be The Incredibles, with Monster's Inc coming in at #2. IMHO these two have the widest appeal of all the Pixar films (not including Ratatouille, which I have not seen).

My least favorite Pixar film would have to be Cars. I guess it would have to be the character designs, but I found it too kid-centric.

Jam Master Jay 06-20-07 04:32 PM

I voted for the Incredibles but have yet to be let down by a Pixar movie. Will have to update when Ratatouille comes out, can't wait to see that.

My rankings would be like:

1. The Incredibles
2. Toy Story
3. Toy Story 2
4. Finding Nemo
5. A Bug's Life
6. Monsters, Inc
7. Cars

Nuff 06-20-07 04:34 PM

Incredibles for me, the film just resonates with me in a way that I cannot describe...I flat out love it.

caiman 06-20-07 04:54 PM

You really should have started this poll after everyone has seen Ratatouille. I suspect the results will be different then.

Josh H 06-20-07 05:00 PM

The Incredibles
Toy Story 2
Toy Story
Monster's Inc
A Bug's Life
Finding Nemo

Haven't seen Cars, concept didn't interest me (nor does Ratatouille) but I'm sure I'll see those eventual via netflix or something.

beavis69 06-20-07 05:07 PM

Toy Story was such a great movie and i dont think Pixar has topped it since

dhmac 06-20-07 05:27 PM

I'm not going to vote until after I see Ratatouille. That one has potential to take the top spot for me from The Incredibles because both are directed by Brad Bird.
