There Will Be Blood - Paul Thomas Anderson

Here's the first trailer for PT Anderson's There Will Be Blood. I think that Anderson's company put this on YouTube themselves. Movie looks intense.

Awesome. Reminds me of a Gus Van Sant movie, for some reason.

I am dying to see this film as I think PTA is one of the best directors around right now.

The trailer (if that's what it really is) gives off a great feel. It almost has that "Days of Heaven" type feeling to it (which is an amazing film).

I'm hyped.

A little bit, except at least with Anderson you won't get a random scene of two guys fudge packing in the middle of the film out of nowhere.

I've been anticipating this film for a while now. I've loved everything Anderson has done so far, and with Day Lewis on board you know it's going to be amazing.

I didn't know it was a period piece. Awesome. I love everything P.T. Anderson has done. This looks great.

Apparently it's based on Upton Sinclair's Oil! Anyone ever read it?

Extremely excited about this one ever since I found out about Daniel Day Lewis being in a Paul Thomas Anderson movie. I'm also very interested to see how Anderson's first movie without his usual cast will turn out.

Looks very interesting. Cool to see PT Anderson's style in a period piece. So I've got this and "3:10 to Yuma" to look forward to. The old West is making a comeback!

Looks good. I'll definitely see it.

Daniel Day-Lewis looks like a young Sam Elliott

I'm not crazy about the title, every time I hear it I think of Saw's Jigsaw saying, "Oh yes, there will be blood."

I like to think after you see the film, you will NEVER think of Saw ever again.

That new trailer looks great. I've liked PT Andersons other work (Except Event Horizon, man that movie sucked!! ), and I love Magnolia, rain of frogs and all, so I'm looking forward to this one. I'm sure it won't play here and I will have to wait for the DVD/BD/HD-DVD

I like Anderson but I'm not sure about this one yet. The trailer looks good but it just doesn't seem like my kind of flick.

Even though i'm sure you were joking, i'll take the bate and tell you that Paul Thomas Anderson did not make event horizon, it was the truely horrible Paul W.S. Anderson. P.T. Anderson makes amazing movies (Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, Magnolia and Punch Drunk Love), Paul W.S. Anderson has made me waist alot of money in theaters (Mortal Kombat, Soldier, Event Horizon, Resident Evil and AVP)

Now laugh at me for pointing out your sarcasm

You have to be talking about Last Days (worst movie ever made). I remember watching that flick with my ex-girl and we both looked at each other wondering why the hell he shot that in there - it just came out of nowhere.

As for this flick - "Day Lewis" is all you have to say and I'm there.

Awesome, I had read about it in EW but didn't feel so enthusiastic. "A period piece about oil?! How dull!" but after seeing the trailer I'll be first in line to see it. Love P.T. Anderson's work and can't wait!

First review is out and it sounds like another masterpiece from Anderson

I'm putting money down that this wins best picture, best director, and best actor.
